This technical report describes a study that tests a method for quantitative analysis of chromium VI and chromium III species in clean and effluent water.

Samples taken from the Aquacheck Proficiency Testing scheme were used to demonstrate the efficacy of the method. External calibration and double spike isotope dilution mass spectrometry calibration procedures were compared.
