This bulletin is part of a regular published series of statistical reports, containing analysis of key QDC/QSC information. Analysis of all contracts that became a QDC/QSC between 1 April 2015 and 30 June 2017 is included.

The SSRO was notified of 102 contracts that became QDCs/QSCs by 30 June 2017. Contractors have one month after the date the contract becomes a QDC to submit reports, and as of 31 July 2017 the SSRO had received contract reports for 95 contracts that became QDCs/QSCs between 1 April 2015 and 30 June 2017, which the analysis is based on. This comprised 81 QDCs and 14 QSCs.

In the first quarter of 2017/18, the SSRO has received contract reports for three new QDCs/QSCs, with an estimated total contract price of £21 million. The estimated total contract price of all 95 QDCs/QSCs was £23.4 billion. The average reported estimated contract profit rate across all QDCs/QSCs was 10.93 per cent. The values reported are those agreed when the contract was signed or amended, and may not reflect those at contract completion. The publication schedule for the next four quarterly bulletins is as follows:
