Details

The National Radiological Protection Board published advice on the off-site protection of the public and on the protection of workers involved in taking mitigating actions to reduce the exposures of others.

This advice is for the protection of those on-site personnel who are not involved in mitigating actions (termed ‘on-site personnel’) in the event of a radiation accident.

This framework both dovetails with existing planning for the protection of members of the public off-site and takes account of specific differences between the situations on- and off-site.
