This guide will help you to register to vote, here on GOV.UK.

Registering to vote will let you have your say in local elections, general elections and referendums.

People with a learning disability have the same right to vote as everyone else.

You only need to register once - you do not need to register separately for every election. You must register again if you’ve changed address, name or nationality.

When you register to vote, you’ll be asked for your National Insurance number (but you can still register if you do not have one). Find your National Insurance number.
