Notice of request for comments on Risk Management Evaluations (Stockholm Convention Annex F) for UV-328 and Dechlorane Plus privacy notice

The personal data we will be collecting are names, including company and organisation names, email addresses and telephone numbers (if provided) and comments on the draft risk evaluations (Stockholm Convention Annex F assessment) for UV-328 and dechlorane plus proposed as a persistent organic pollutant.

It will be used to assess whether the UK wishes to add comments to the draft documents before it is considered by the next Persistent Organic Pollutant Review Committee (POPRC) in September.

The legal basis for collecting your personal data is for compliance with a legal obligation Article 6.1C to which the controller is subject and Article 15 of The Persistent Organic Pollutants (Amendment)(EU Exit) Regulations 2020 which requires the Secretary of State to seek comments from interested parties.

3. Who will my data be shared with?

Data provided will be published on GOV.UK approximately 2 months after the date for commenting closes.

Comments will only be attributed to a name or organisation. All other personal data will only be shared with other members of the internal Defra group stakeholders.

4. Can I opt out?

You can opt out at any time. To opt out please email [email protected] and your personal data will be deleted.

5. What will happen if I opt out?

If you choose to opt out, you will no longer be able to take part in providing comments on the potential UK proposal.

6. Retention period or criteria used to determine the retention period

Your personal data will be kept by us for 5 years in line with our standard information retention policy or until the survey has ceased.

7. Will my data be used for automated decision-making or profiling?

The information you provide is not connected with individual decision making (making a decision solely by automated means without any human involvement) or profiling (automated processing of personal data to evaluate certain things about an individual).

8. Will my data be transferred outside of the EEA? If it will, how will it be protected?

The data you provide will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area.

9. What are my rights?

10. How do I complain?
