Details

This report explains the sampling and methodology of the Longitudinal Small Business Survey (LSBS) 2019, a large-scale telephone survey of UK small business owners and managers. It is the latest in a series of surveys dating back to 2003. Since 2015 the survey has been run annually with a longitudinal component and been known as the LSBS.

The 2019 survey was carried out between July 2019 and February 2020.

Users of the survey have the opportunity to suggest COVID-19 related questions for the 2020 wave of the survey, with more details in the COVID-19 document published here.
