Guide on how to use and understand social return on investment (SROI) tools and evaluations for alcohol and drugs treatment.

Local authority commissioners can use this to:

  • show stakeholders the social and economic benefits of alcohol and drug intervention to society, such as public health and social care outcomes, and reduced crime and improved community safety
  • make good decisions about how to spend your money effectively on services that improve lives, health and wellbeing, and opportunities
