  • navigation authorities
  • licensing authorities
  • operators of passenger boats

Passenger boats are vessels carrying no more than 12 passengers on inland waters.

Types of passenger boats include:

  • trip boats
  • hotel boats
  • water taxis operating in harbour areas, estuaries, lakes, rivers and canals
