This research report concludes an extensive international literature review into robustness and disproportionate collapse in structures undertaken on behalf of the Department for Communities and Local Government and the Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure.

This report aims to ascertain the state of knowledge in the subject and identify the gaps in that state of knowledge against which future research initiatives can be targeted.

The findings and recommendations in this report are those of the consultant authors and do not necessarily represent the views or proposed policies of the Department for Communities and Local Government.
