Details of the Supply Chain Certificate application process for the Contracts for Difference (CfD) allocation round 3.

Details
This document sets out the process for submitting and assessing supply chain plans.
It is aimed at people applying for a generic CfD with projects of 300MW generating capacity or more. Applicants will need to provide the Electricity Market Reform (EMR) Delivery Body (National Grid) with a letter from the government certifying that they have an approved supply chain plan for their project.
BEIS will publish information on the dates of the supply chain plan application window in due course. We will endeavour to assess the plans within 30 working days, although borderline cases may take longer. The publication date of the CfD will not impact on the supply chain plan requirement or process.
This guidance differs slightly to the previous version published for Allocation Round 2, reflecting the requirements to:
- submit an Interim Post Build Report or Post Build Report
- provide more detail on the Supply Chain Plan Monitoring Process
