This self assessment tool is designed to help organisations that use surveillance cameras to identify if they are complying with the 12 principles in the code. It should be completed in conjunction with the surveillance camera code of practice. This tool can be used to self assess for CCTV, automatic number plate recognition, body worn video, unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and automatic facial recognition cameras.
Further information about using the self assessment tool and other ways to show that you are complying with the codes of practice is also available.
