The Teaching Regulation Agency corporate plan: 2021 to 2024 contains information about our:

TRA is an executive agency of the Department for Education. It supports schools, employers and headteachers with their safeguarding responsibilities by:
- receiving and handling allegations of serious teacher misconduct
- helping employers with pre-recruitment checks to ensure that teachers are appropriately qualified
