Details

The National Archives covers both public records (government and the law courts) and private archives, and it was established in 2003 from the merger of the Public Record Office and the Historical Manuscripts Commission.

This paper was laid before Parliament in response to a legislative requirement or as a Return to an Address and was ordered to be printed by the House of Commons.
