This National Programme has been prepared by the United Kingdom (UK) to meet the requirements of Articles 11-15 of the EURATOM 2011/70 Directive. The Directive establishes a community framework for the responsible and safe management of spent fuel and radioactive waste. The National Programme details how the UK intends to implement its national policies for the responsible and safe management of spent fuel and radioactive waste.
