Details

The Universal Credit (Transitional Provisions) Amendment Regulations 2022 amend the existing legislative framework that sets out:

  • how claimants are notified of their move to Universal Credit from existing benefits
  • protections for claimants when they move (transitional protection)

This publication includes a report by the Social Security Advisory Committee (SSAC) on the regulations and the response to the report from the Secretary of State of Work and Pensions.
