Details

This impact assessment considers the impact of the measures included in the Trade Union Bill on businesses, public sector employers, government and individuals. It considers transition costs and ongoing costs and benefits.

The impact assessment covers measures included in the Bill on:

  • the 50% ballot threshold
  • 4 month time limits for ballot mandates
  • union supervision of picketing
  • political fund reforms
  • reforms to the role of the Certification Officer
