Details

These documents evaluate the Transforming Cities Fund (TCF) and consider whether the fund achieved its objectives.

The reports include:

  • case study 1, which examines the ‘co-development’ approach to Tranche 2 funding
  • the government’s response to case study 1
  • the TCF baseline synthesis which:
    • outlines the approach to evaluating the TCF
    • summarises the baseline data, collected before construction of the schemes began

The TCF, launched in November 2017, is a capital grant transport fund aimed at increasing productivity through investments in transport infrastructure in some of England’s largest city regions.
