Details

This literature review is the first stage of a study that will cover economic growth, social outcomes and environmental impacts. The Impact Study will be split into two stages; pre-rollout and post-rollout.

The primary purpose of the pre-rollout stage is to increase our understanding of the effect of faster broadband on people’s lives and then translate these findings into quantified estimates of the potential impact of the Government’s broadband projects. The post-rollout stage will conduct an impact evaluation of the Government’s broadband investments.

A consortium comprising SQW, Cambridge Econometrics and Dr Pantelis Koutroumpis has been contracted to deliver the pre-rollout stage.
