Details

Following the UK’s first ever orbital launch from Spaceport Cornwall earlier this year, the UK Space Agency conducted a comprehensive First Launch Lessons Learned exercise to identify areas for improvement that will support future launches from the UK. Work is already underway to implement the lessons learned for the benefit of the UK space industry and help inform future launch activity from the UK.

This report, authored by the UK Space Agency’s Launch Programme following extensive engagement across government and its agencies, sets out the lessons identified from delivering the pathfinder launch, and the associated recommendations being taken forward to improve organisational responsibilities, processes, governance and international engagement.
