The UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES) is running a programme of competitions that target specific workforce development problems. Innovation is one of the most important qualities UKCES is looking for in potential solutions.

This guidance document explains:

  • what is meant by innovation
  • why it is important
  • the risks that come with innovation
