Update: 21 December 2022
We have published ‘The Global Climate Observing System (GCOS) Implementation Plan’ as Annex 3 of the UK’s 8th National Communication to the UNFCCC.
The PDF version of the National Communication includes a note to direct readers to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change website for the most up to date version of the UK’s 5th Biennial Report Common Tabular Format (CTF) tables.
Under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) the UK must submit a Biennial Report every 2 years and a National Communication every 4 years. This is our:
- 8th National Communication
- 5th Biennial Report
Biennial Reports and National Communications are technical, factual reports that the UK is required to submit as part of the UK’s treaty commitments under the UNFCCC (Article 12) and that must be drafted in line with UNFCCC guidelines.
