This report sets out the positive impacts of Universal Credit using recently published, and independently reviewed, evaluation and research. It also sets out how Universal Credit is progressing, and highlights how Universal Credit is better for claimants, employers, delivery partners and government.

The report builds on the evidence in ‘Universal Credit at work: spring 2015’. That showed how Universal Credit was transforming the labour market and welfare state and beginning to make an impact on local labour markets.
