Paper by academics at the University of Warwick on scenarios for relaxing school closures. This paper was available for participants to read at SAGE 30 and SAGE 31 on 30 April and 1 May 2020, but not considered or discussed in the meeting.
The paper is the assessment of the evidence at the time of writing. As new evidence or data emerges, SAGE updates its advice accordingly.
This paper is an annex to a paper by the Interdisciplinary Task and Finish Group on the Role of Children in Transmission (TFC) from SAGEs 30/31, and should be read in that context. It should also be read alongside the other annexes informing modelling insights in the paper:
