This guide provides employers with an overview of the changes being introduced by the UK government around work experience. The guide covers changes such as:

  • mandatory work experience for all 16-19 year olds
  • the introduction of traineeships - a new programme bridging education and employment
  • the removal unnecessary red tape
  • the introduction of new ‘supported internships’ for young people with special needs
