Legal aid statistics data visualisation tools are web-based tools allowing the user to view and analyse statistics charts and tables themselves more easily, filtering scheme, categories and subcategories based on the published statistics.

Legal aid statistics are published every quarter, presenting statistics on activity (workload and expenditure) in the legal aid system for England and Wales, with breakdown by each area of criminal and civil legal aid.

Legal aid client diversity statistics are published annually, presenting statistics on client’s gender, age, ethnicity and disability for each area of criminal and civil legal aid.

Legal aid provider completions and starts statistics are published annually, Legal aid services in England and Wales are delivered through solicitor firms, Not-for-profit organisations, telephone operators and barristers. These dashboards present the number of providers who have started work, completed work and received associated payments from the Legal aid agency by local authority and region.

Legal aid Civil detailed statistics are published every quarter, provides breakdown of the Civil Legal aid work in England and Wales at a more granular level, and it report on completed cases/matters in Civil Representation, Legal Help and Civil Legal Advice schemes.

Legal aid provider contracts statistics in England and Wales are published quarterly, they present monthly statistics on the number of providers and offices contracted to deliver legal aid services across different regions in England and Wales and across different areas of the law.
