Details
Presents information on selected building materials, including monthly data on price indices, bricks, cement and concrete blocks. It also provides quarterly data on sand and gravel, slate, concrete roofing tiles, ready-mixed concrete and imports and exports of construction products.
Note:
The Monthly Statistics of Building Materials and Components: January 2024 edition, published on 7th February, will be based on a new and improved production process.
The new process will produce a new table format aiming to enhance user experience and align with the UK accessibility legislation for the public sector. The new format, which is similar to Table 11a, 11b, 11c and 12a, 12b, 12c, will facilitate user data processing and handling. Key changes include a separation of tables by time-period or categories (designated by the alphabetical character next to the table number i.e., a, b, c). Further alterations to the tables are described in the ‘New format’ tab of the table file.
