Speed of processing is a measure of the average time it takes to process a:
- new Housing Benefit claim
- change in circumstance of an existing Housing Benefit claimant
The average time is measured in calendar days, rounded to the nearest day.

Revised version of the data tables for January to March 2020 (quarter 4). Revisions to Table 2c have been made after a processing issue meant incorrect figures were provided for some Local Authorities on the speed of processing for January 2020. Table 2c has been adjusted so that the correct rounded figures are included for the data at January 2020. All other data remains the same.
