Details
This statistical release contains the latest data and commentary on new outcomes obtained as a result of enforcement activities of the Insolvency Service during 2019/20. They include: disqualifications of company directors; companies wound up in the public interest; bankruptcy restrictions and experimental statistics on outcomes of criminal charges.
Correction notice
Errors in Table 1c ‘Director Disqualification Orders and Undertakings: Allegation Types in Insolvent Disqualifications’ resulted in the release of incorrect figures for Insolvency Service Enforcement outcomes annual table 2018/19. The error occurred when the total number of allegations in Table 1c did not sum to the total number of individual allegations. This resulted in an underreporting of the total number, although the figure was correct for individuals.

Corrected data has been released for the Insolvency Service Enforcement outcomes annual table 2018/19 and are available here. This error is not present in the 2019/20 release.
