Key findings this month

One request is being published this month for the organisation Lancashire Women’s Centres as provisional statistics. Lancashire Women’s Centres offer a range of one-stop-shop services and opportunities to women in the community. This analysis relates to female offenders who received support provided by Lancashire Women’s Centres in the community between 2010 and 2012. This analysis indicates that there is currently insufficient evidence at this stage to draw a conclusion about the impact of receiving support provided by Lancashire Women’s Centres on reoffending.

The bulletin is produced and handled by the Ministry’s analytical professionals and production staff. Pre-release access of up to 24 hours is granted to the following people:

Ministry of Justice Secretary of State, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Permanent Secretary, Director of Sentencing and Rehabilitation Policy unit, relevant policy advisers for reducing reoffending and women’s policy (3 people in total), policy advisers for the Transforming Rehabilitation Programme, and relevant press officers and special advisers.
