Details

This ad hoc statistical release provides further figures that were not previously published or not published at this level of detail in the latest Legal Aid Statistics bulletin for 2012 to 2013. These data are released to address the public interest in the area and provides improvements to any previous published figures. The figures extend previously published figures on barrister payment by including new sources of data covering the Crown Prosecution Service, civil representation, magistrates’ court and payments made for non-panel advocates to solicitor firms in respect of very high cost cases in the Crown Court.
