Public Health England (PHE) has published the Local Alcohol Profiles for England (LAPE) data update for March 2016.

The LAPE interactive tool presents data for 20 alcohol-related indicators and allows users to view and analyse data in a user-friendly format. The LAPE website also provides links to further supporting and relevant information to aid understanding of alcohol-related harm in a local population.

This quarterly update includes:

  • the addition of 2014 deaths to the 4 mortality indicators
  • an adjustment to mortality values across the previous years (because of a change in ICD10 coding for the most recent year)
  • a new drink driving indicator

The hospital admissions data indicators will be updated in May 2016.
