Details

Claimants who wish to dispute a benefits or welfare decision are required to ask DWP to reconsider and revise the decision. This is known as a mandatory reconsideration (MR). This process covers all DWP adminstered benefits and child maintenance cases for decisons made from 28 October 2013.

These experimental statistics cover MR requests for all benefits made between 28 October 2013 and 31 October 2014.
