Details
This statistical working paper contains details of a possible new methodology for measuring the gap in attainment between disadvantaged pupils and others over time.
It includes national level results at key stage 2 and key stage 4 for:
- 2012
- 2013
- 2014
It also compares the current headline gaps with the new proposed methodology.
We invited feedback on the working methodology, including any suggestions for alternative approaches. The consultation response document summarises the feedback we received and our next steps.
Read ‘GCSE and equivalent attainment by pupil characteristics: 2014’ and ‘National curriculum assessments at key stage 2, 2014 (revised)’ for statistics on attainment by pupil characteristics, including disadvantage.
