• Total landings by UK vessels decreased by 21% in December 2023 compared to 2022. The value of landings in December 2023 (£41.1 million) also decreased by 36% compared to 2022.
• Landings in December 2023 comprised mostly of Demersal species (42%). Shellfish species comprised the majority of the value landed (51%)
