Details

This publication includes New Enterprise Allowance (NEA) statistics from April 2011 to April 2017 for phase 1 of the scheme.

Since April 2017 phase 2 of NEA has been made available to a wider range of claimants, including Universal Credit recipients with existing businesses. We aim to publish statistics for phase 2 in the next release, due to be published in December 2017.

Read about how we produce these statistics in the background information note.

NEA can provide money and support to help people start or grow their own business.
