This is the first publication of a new biennial Official Statistics release on the parental conflict indicator, comprised of 2 measures:

  • the proportion of children in couple-parent families reporting relationship distress, including a breakdown by employment status
  • the proportion of children in separated families who see their non-resident parent regularly

This indicator was originally published as part of Improving Lives: Helping Workless Families.
