This statistical release presents annual statistics on the number of reported Treasure Finds found in 2017 (and the headline provisional figure for 2018) in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The data for 2017 are available broken down by county, region, period and disposition, and method of discovery. Provisional headline figures are provided for 2018 by county and region only.

This report also includes the proportion of adults in England who took part in metal detecting at least once in the 12 months prior to interview (2018/19, Taking Part survey).
