Details

This publication builds on the impact assessment for the single-tier pension reforms. It gives further estimates of the impact of the single-tier pension reforms on people who under the current system would have derived entitlement to all or part of a basic State Pension using their spouse or civil partner’s National Insurance record.

The estimates presented here are the results of departmental modelling of State Pension outcomes under different pension systems. They do not constitute official statistics.
