Initial work to analyse the level of impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) and the subsequent lockdown period on congestion has begun. This will be completed with a supporting methodology note when there is further data available in the July 2019 to June 2020 publication, intended for release in September 2020.
The monthly March 2020 data shows the beginning of the impact of lockdown, but this has yet to be realised in the annual statistics.
