Details

These are the first official statistics to be released on benefits and employment for individuals and households on the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) Troubled Families programme. These statistics have been developed using guidelines set out by the UK Statistics Authority, and while they undergo evaluation they are labelled as experimental statistics.

This publication includes:

  • the number of people identified as being on the DCLG Troubled Families programme at some point since April 2012
  • characteristics by age and gender
  • job starts and outcomes for these individuals from April 2012 to July 2014
  • an assessment of these job starts and outcomes at household level since starting on the Troubled Families programme

We have also published related statistics on ESF support for families with multiple problems: Dec 2011 to Jul 2014.
