The Work Programme provides support for up to 2 years to help long term unemployed people find work.

We wanted to test ways of providing support for people who reach the end of their 2 years without finding work. We called this the “support for the very long term unemployed trailblazer”.

The statistics in this publication give an early estimate of the effectiveness of the test.

This quantitative analysis complements the findings in our research report Evaluation of support for the very long term unemployed trailblazer (RR824)
