Published 4 December 2017
Last updated 25 January 2018 + show all updates
  1. Published extra tables, which provide the assessment provider performance data at month-by-month level, as well as contractual year-on-year trends. DWP views the originally published three-month rolling averages as the correct basis for assessing provider performance. These can be found in the original ‘Tables: PIP and ESA assessments inquiry: supporting statistics’, which support the statistical release. Within these tables, table 22 has been updated to correct erroneous figures. This update affected page 8 of the ‘Work and Pensions Select Committee PIP and ESA assessments inquiry: supporting statistics’ statistical release, which has also been amended. Finally, as provider performance data is now available up to December 2017, all tables and charts containing provider performance information have been updated to include this.

  2. Tables 22 and 23 within the data tables pack have been updated to show extra breakdowns by all possible audit performance grades. This is at the request of the first Work and Pensions Select Committee hearing on the topic, on Wednesday 6th December 2017.
