This statistical bulletin provides the national and local level information on the number and rate of young people aged 10-17 receiving their first reprimand, warning or conviction in England and Wales, 2000-01 to 2009-10. The statistics are released by the Ministry of Justice and produced in accordance with arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority. Previous editions of this bulletin were published by the Department for Children Schools and Families (now the Department for Education).
