Disruption to emergency contact numbers for consular assistance

Due to essential maintenance, our telephones will go down for up to 4 hours from 5.30pm today

Please note that due to essential maintenance work on our telephone system, the Embassy switchboard will be out of service for up to 4 hours from 5.30pm on Monday 16th December. This will affect our consular out-of-hours emergency contact messages. If you need to contact us urgently during these periods, please call the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London on +44 207 008 1500 and ask for the Global Response Centre, otherwise please call again outside these periods. Please note this service is for emergency consular assistance for British nationals only. We are not able to offer information on visas on this number.
