Guidance

Add non-compulsory information to beef and veal labelling

If you want to add extra information about your beef to product labels, you must make sure it meets current food labelling legislation.

Applies to England

All beef must be labelled with specific compulsory information. You can add extra information to your beef labels voluntarily, but you must make sure that any information added meets the requirements of the current food labelling legislation.
