Central Sequencing Laboratory (CSL)

The Central Sequencing Laboratory (CSL) provides genomic services including next-generation sequencing, sanger sequencing and fragment analysis.

The Central Sequencing Laboratory (CSL), which is part of the National Infection Service, provides 3 services to its users, which include:

  1. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) of genomic DNA, plasmid DNA or polymerase chain reactions (PCR) amplicon using Illumina sequencing technology.
  2. Sanger sequencing of short DNA fragments using Applied Biosystems capillary platforms.
  3. Fragment analysis of fluorescently labelled PCR products for variable number tandem repeat (VNTR) analysis, microsatellites, ribotyping, clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPRS) and fluorescent amplified length polymorphism (FAFLP) using Applied Biosystems capillary platforms.

For further information and pricing, refer to the CSL user manual or contact services directly.
