Companies House Welsh service
We have a service for Welsh companies and limited liability partnerships (LLPs) who prefer to use the Welsh language.
Contact us in Welsh
You can email or phone us on 0303 1234 500.
We do not have a Welsh language line. If you ask to speak to a Welsh speaker, you will be transferred to a Welsh speaker in line with our Welsh Language Scheme.
Telephone: 0303 1234 500 (Ask for a Welsh speaker)
It’s important to us that you can communicate with us in your language of choice. If you have encountered any barriers when trying to communicate with us in Welsh, email the Welsh language unit:
Filing company information in Welsh
We provide a Welsh language online filing service where you can access bilingual forms on the ‘Company overview’ page.
Bilingual forms
You can only use bilingual forms (English and Welsh) if your company’s jurisdiction is ‘Wales’ (instead of ‘England and Wales’).
You can change your jurisdiction by filing:
- form AD05 for companies
- form LL AD05 for LLPs
Documents you can send in Welsh without a certified translation
Welsh companies or LLPs can send us the following documents in Welsh without a certified translation into English. We’ll arrange for a certified English translation and both will be available on the Companies House register.
You can file:
- a company’s memorandum of association
- a company’s articles
- a community interest company report
- a resolution or agreement
- a declaration of a community interest company
- annual accounts and reports
- revised accounts and report and any auditor’s report on revised accounts and reports
- a document which must be appended to group accounts
Welsh companies or LLPs can send us a certified Welsh translation of any document usually filed in English. This includes any documents you’ve already filed.
Social media
You can contact us in Welsh on all our social channels and we’ll respond in Welsh.
