Policy training for academics
Information on the policy training courses OIT offers academics
The Open Innovation Team has delivered policy training to academics, professionals and students since it was established in 2016.
Our Policy Masterclass is designed to help participants understand how the policy-making process works and how they can maximise their chances of influencing it.
Delivered by experienced civil servants, the training can be tailored to any skill level.
Participants learn about how policy works in practice, how they can engage policy-makers and what tactics they can use to inform the policy-making process. Questions and discussion are encouraged throughout, and exercises help participants apply lessons to their own work.
Please note: As a cost-recovery team, we charge a fee for this training to cover our operational expenses and ensure the sustainability of our services. The cost varies depending on the duration, complexity, and customisation of the training program.
We are offering the Masterclass for group bookings from people within the same institution and can also accommodate individual participants in mixed-group courses.
For more information about our training options, pricing, and to book, please email us at [email protected]
To sign up as an individual for a mixed-group course, please visit our Eventbrite page.
