The Army Benevolent Fund is the Army's national charity, supporting soldiers, veterans and their families throughout their lives.

About the Army Benevolent Fund

The Army Benevolent Fund supports the Army veterans and their families with bereavement, injury, getting back to work, elderly care and more.

The Fund does not accept direct applications for funding from individuals. Applications must be submitted through the relevant Unit Welfare Officer.

For veterans, applications must be submitted by the Regimental or Corps Association and through the the relevant case-working office (for example, SSAFA, Royal British Legion or Poppy Scotland).
