Naval Children's Charity

The Naval Children's Charity provides financial support and guidance for the wellbeing and development of children from serving and veteran Royal Navy families.

About the Naval Children’s Charity

The Naval Children’s Charity supports the wellbeing and development of children and young people from Royal Navy families. This includes serving, reserve and veteran personnel from the Royal Navy, Royal Marines and Royal Fleet Auxiliary.

The support they offer includes:

  • financial grants in times of crisis
  • practical guidance and support for all the child’s needs
  • resources and opportunities to support the wellbeing and development of Naval children up to the age of 25

Families can come to them directly.

A caseworker will assess the individual child’s needs and work with other charities and organisations to provide a package of support.

Families are means tested and any needs of a child are considered. They also offer free resources to support the child’s mental health and wellbeing, along with a programme of opportunities to improve their outcomes.
